Returning unchanged for 2025, the Blizzard Rustler 10 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is a reliable freeride setup that maintains the same level of sophistication and versatility that impressed skiers in 2024. With a 102 mm waist, this ski is well-suited for handling various snow conditions throughout the day. It excels on groomers, where it carves effortlessly through corduroy, and performs remarkably in deeper snow, offering smooth flotation and easy maneuverability. We paired the Rustler 10 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

We appreciate the Rustler 10's exceptional versatility, seamlessly transitioning between on-piste and off-piste conditions.

Who it's for:

The Rustler 10 is best suited for advanced to expert skiers due to its detailed and complex construction, making it ideal for skilled individuals seeking top all mountain and powder performance.

Highlights:

Blizzard’s Trueblend Free Core technology enhances the ski by designating specific flex zones in different areas of the ski, resulting in intuitive handling, forgiveness, and strength exactly where it's needed. A titanal frame that runs underfoot and along the outer edge of the ski adds power and torsional stiffness for a responsive and precise feel, while ample tip and tail rocker ensure the Rustler 10 is plenty maneuverable in soft snow. The Attack 14 GW’s FR PRO3 Toe contains 30 mm of elastic travel which provides a smooth and confidence inspiring feel when tracking though variable snow while also recentering the boot to its neutral position extremely well to keep you locked in, acting almost like a suspension system. NX FR Heel pieces have 16 mm of elastic travel which assists in prevent false-releases. These heel pieces also make stepping into and out of bindings with ease, even in deep snow.

Things to consider:

The Rustler 10 could serve as a daily driver for skiers out West, or a dedicated powder ski for those on the East Coast. For skiers who appreciate the Rustler's design but prefer a different width, the Rustler 9 and 11 offer narrower and wider alternatives.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These skis are true to size. Less experienced skiers might consider sizing down for better control.
