A tight, cut-resistant knit sits close to the skin under a speed suit, adding a safeguard against ski edges. For junior gate racers and their parents, it's reassurance that layers in without changing the fit of the suit.

Why we like it:

The cut-resistant knit adds a real measure of protection against a passing edge, a comforting thing to have on a young racer's legs. It does the job as an unobtrusive baselayer they can wear under any suit.

Features and Functions:

Protection is knit right into the fabric, a blend of 40% ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), 40% polyester, and 20% glass fiber in a tight double-knit that resists cuts. They carry FIS 3 certification, the standard for cut-protective race underwear, and the seams sit toward the front of the leg to prevent chafing over a long day of training.

Fit and Sizing:

These fit like a proper baselayer, snug to the leg so they vanish under a race suit. Front-routed seams keep chafe points away from the shins. Size for a close, compressive fit within the junior range.

Bottom Line:

This is protective race kit scaled for kids, best for junior alpine racers who want edge protection without bulk under the suit. For families doing gate training on firm snow, it's a low-profile safeguard worth having. Everyday young skiers won't need it; racers will.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0670/5135/6456/files/poc-layer-cut-resistant-junior-tights-57037p-57037-uraniuum.jpg?v=1790966368
