swix-sg-alum-race-poles-fa11500
Swix SG Alum Race Poles

Built for the speed events, the Swix WC Pro Super-G is an aluminum race pole with a pre-shaped bend that follows your body in a tuck. A sturdy shaft, race grip, and race basket round out a setup taken straight from the start house. The result is a pole that stays tucked in tight at speed and still gives you a solid push and a precise plant through the gates.

Why we like it:

The Super-G bend. It lets the poles hug your body in a tuck instead of sticking out into the wind, and on a long gliding section that's free speed.

Features and Functions:

The shaft is an 18mm aluminum tube, which gives it the breaking strength to survive gate contact and hard starts while still responding precisely when you plant. Swix shapes it with a classic Super-G bend that tracks the line of your body in a tuck, improving aerodynamics and power transfer at high speed. Up top is a downhill racing handle and down at the tip a racing basket, the same style of components Swix runs on its top World Cup poles, and a strap comes included. It sits in Swix's Raceline family and is aimed squarely at competition, though recreational skiers who like a race-style setup will be right at home on it too.

Bottom Line:

The WC Pro Super-G is the go-to aluminum pole for racers who need a dedicated speed-event setup without stepping up to carbon. It's tough enough for a full season of training and race days, and the bend makes a real difference the moment you drop into a tuck.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0670/5135/6456/files/swix-sg-alum-race-poles-fa11500-1-fa11500.jpg?v=1791228516
