The Atomic Backland 107 provides a lightweight chassis with the attitude of a real all-mountain ski. Oftentimes a dedicated lightweight touring ski can leave something to be desired in terms of their ability to handle aggressive skiing in off-piste terrain. They often lack the power and stability that an all-mountain ski would provide. Not the Backland 107. A powerful wood core and a generous amount of camber provide a lot of stability and give the ski an energetic feel despite its lightweight build and wider waist. Pair that with a directional rocker profile and Atomic’s HRZN Tip Technology and you get a really well-rounded powder ski.
