2022 DPS Pagoda Tour 100 RP Skis

The Pagoda Tour 100 Is designed to provide a lightweight profile for long uphill climbs while providing a downhill performance that rivals that of a more frontside oriented ski. Often times touring-oriented skis can leave something to be desired on the descent as a result of their low weight, but DPS and their line of Pagoda Tour skis are certainly an exception. The Pagoda Tour construction features a blend of light and energetic wood comprised of Ash and Paulownia accompanied by an Aerospace-grade foam that keeps the weight down while providing a lot of structure and body to the ski. Sandwiching those materials are two full carbon laminates which provide power and vibration damping resulting in a strong and quiet ski. The Pagoda Tour 100 features DPS’s RP shaping which was developed around highlighting maneuverability and quickness in a ski while still maintaining edge hold and stability. A 15-meter radius is pretty uncommon for a ski in this category, but the generous sidecut of this ski allow it to carve well and cut across the fall line very quickly which most skiers would be thankful for on those steep descents in those tight couloirs. Rocker in the tip keeps the ski afloat, while taper at both end s of the ski allow the skis to slice and dice its way through soft snow, crud, chop and other variable snow condition. This tapered shape also allows the ski to release its edge from a turn for effortless surfy turns.
