2023 Liberty Evolv 100 Skis

The Liberty Evolv 100 Skis are the second widest offering in the Evolv line up, coming in at 100-millimeters under the boot. The core of the Evolv 100 starts with a combination of Bamboo and Poplar inside of which lay three vertically laminated strips of metal. Liberty calls this their Vertical Metal technology or VMT 3.0 Core and it gives the ski a great deal of stability, strength and power while keeping the weight down in comparison to other skis that use more traditional metal laminates in their construction. Carbon and fiberglass are also Implemented into the core of the Evolv 100, so as you might imagine, the combination of all of these materials leads to a stiff flexing ski that has an appetite for speed and aggressive skiing in wide open spaces. They are easy to get from edge to edge quickly, when making a nice arc shaped turn on flatter of smoother terrain due to their flatter tail and minimal rocker. Contrary to a lot of other 100-millimeter-wide skis, the Evolv 100 doesn't feature a substantial rocker profile. There is a bit of it in the tip and even less in the tail. This offers a bit by way of float, but it's there to provide an easier entry to the turn and to provide just enough releasability in off-piste terrain. The Liberty Evolve 100 Ski is a powerful all-mountain stick that places an emphasis on powerful turns but can take you beyond the groomers.
