Anti-Ice Rail on the toe helps get snow and ice off your boots before stepping into the bindings to ensure a safe and proper fit into them. This prevents pre-release and contributes to the overall safety of the binding. Inter Pivot 3 Freeride Heel contributes power transmission, energy absorption, and vertical heel elasticity as well as improved step in friendliness. Magnesium is used for the heel and toe housings which provide a solid construction and feel while keeping the weight to a minimum. Things to consider:

The Jester 16 is an aggressive binding and can be unnecessary for most all-mountain skiers. Less aggressive skiers would want to look to the Griffon 13 ID Bindings as they are designed for all-mountain skiers who do not have a freeride and freestyle background as well as less aggressive alpine skiers.
