Such a blend of performance characteristics are ideal in the backcountry or in-bounds, just as long as there’s a generous bit of softer snow to travel on. With a pronounced rocker profile and a shorter effective edge, the Kaizen 100 is certainly not the best hardpack performer and thus prefers softer, more plentiful snow conditions that perpetuate floatation and agility.
