The 2026 DPS Kaizen 105 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is a modern freeride all-mountain ski built to charge big lines, rip long turns, and float with confidence when the snow gets deep. Combining elements from DPS’s RP and C2 shapes, this ski delivers a powerful, directional ride without sacrificing the finesse needed for tight terrain and mixed snow. It’s lightweight, versatile, and incredibly stable—making it a standout for adventurous skiers looking for one ski to handle it all. We paired the 105 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The Kaizen 105 feels composed at speed and nimble when it counts. It’s rare to find a ski that can make wide-open GS arcs in the morning and weave through glades in the afternoon without missing a beat. It blends float, precision, and edge grip like few others in this category.

Who it's for:

Designed for advanced and expert skiers who want a quiver-killer with a directional freeride bias. If you like to ski fast, carve hard, and still float when the snow stacks up, the Kaizen 105 checks all the boxes.

Highlights:

With an 18-meter turn radius and longer effective edge, the Kaizen 105 offers superior high-speed control and dependable edge hold. Compared to the more rockered Kaizen 100, this ski uses reduced taper and rocker for enhanced snow contact and float. The carbon, poplar, and ash construction keeps it light yet powerful, ideal for both inbounds days and sidecountry laps. From groomers to chop to mid-storm bootpacks, this ski does it all with composure. The Attack 14 GW’s FR PRO3 Toe contains 30 mm of elastic travel which provides a smooth and confidence inspiring feel when tracking though variable snow while also recentering the boot to its neutral position extremely well to keep you locked in, acting almost like a suspension system. NX FR Heel pieces have 16 mm of elastic travel which assists in prevent false-releases. These heel pieces also make stepping into and out of bindings with ease, even in deep snow.

Things to consider:

This ski is directional by design and favors a more aggressive style. If you prefer a looser, more playful ride in powder or want to ski switch, something like the Koala 103 will be a better match.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Kaizen 105 skis true to size. Most skiers will be comfortable sticking with their regular length. Lighter or finesse-focused riders may consider sizing down for quicker maneuverability in tight terrain.
