2025 Fischer Nightstick 97 Skis

Brand-new for 2025, the Fischer Ranger Nightstick 97 blurs the line between freestyle and freeride by combining the two disciplines. The 97 is a great option for competitive and recreational freestyle skiers who do not want to compromise on all-mountain performance. With a blend of pop, stability, and a twin tip shape, the 97 is begging to be used in a variety of snow conditions and terrain with a freestyle mindset.

The Nightstick 97 blends all the things we like about the Ranger ski but adds a more playful and freestyle oriented shape opening the door for freestyle skiers to bring their vision and skillset to the whole mountain.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert freestyle and freeride skiers who seek a ski that is equally as capable in the park as it is off trail.

Highlights:

A poplar woodcore lays the foundation for the Nightstick 97 by providing pop and rebound as well as stability and support. Small sections of the core are milled out to lower the overall weight of the ski, called Air Tec. The core is reinforced with Fiber Tech, which is a fiberglass laminate running the length of the ski for added energy and stability. Supporting the underfoot zone to increase durability, there are titanal laminates to function for binding retention as well as protecting against rail impacts. Holding all of this together, Fischer uses a Sandwich Sidewall Construction which not only supplies durability and power transfer but also added pop off of jumps and takeoffs.

Things to consider:

Although the Nightstick 97 is quite versatile in a freestyle and freeride format, it does have its limitations when it comes to on-trail carving as that is not what they are designed for.
