2025 Fischer Ranger 102 Skis

The 2025 Fischer Ranger 102 is a versatile freeride all-mountain ski that can carve as well as it floats. Its playful yet trustworthy flex pattern combined with a freeride rocker profile result in a ski that is a useful tool no matter where you go on the mountain. With loads of versatility in an all-mountain application, it does tend to skew towards being more a freeride ski however it certainly never shies away from railing turns down your favorite groomed trail.

Highlights:

The Ranger 102 has a sturdy flex pattern for stability and composure which is directly the result of its beech and poplar wood core but is also not overaly stiff to permit playful skiing styles. Shaped Ti 0.5 laminates underfoot function as a binding retention agent and vibration damping for a smooth and confidence inspiring feel. Flex Cut is taken out of the Ti laminate at the mid-section to allow for a more even flex pattern underfoot for added intuitiveness and predictability. Sandwich Sidewall Construction bolsters the overall stiffness of the ski by using a full sidewall around the entire ski while maximizing edge power. Freeski Rocker profile allows for quick turning and surfiness in deep snow.

Things to consider:

The Ranger 102 has a fairly soft flex pattern in its extremities which can make heavier skiers feel less supported than lighter skiers. Also, there are better on trail carving performers out there in this category, but few have the same mix of performance characteristics.
