Carbon Stringers are then added to the full length of the core to back the core's torsional strength and flex pattern with the sole purpose of keeping the weight down. A thin layer of shaped titanal and Sandwich Sidewall help boost edging stability and overall torsional integrity for a smooth downhill ride. Narrower than its big bro, the Transalp 98 is still wide enough to enjoy a surf session in deep pow but will be slightly quicker edge to edge and since it’s narrower, it’s lighter in weight.
