The 2025 Head Supershape E-V10 is an intuitive and approachable frontside carving ski that is also wide enough for all-mountain exploration. Packed with technology for a smooth and sophisticated feel, the E-V10 is also not short on power and precision when trenching down a groomer. With a wider footprint and frontside shape, there is a lot of versatility that a broad range of skiers would benefit from having.
Why we like it:
Bringing top-end race technology into a ski for intermediate to advanced skiers is a cool idea here. It allows less experienced skiers the opportunity to get the benefits of higher-end skis without the punishing or unforgiving nature of those types of skis.
Who it's for:
Intermediate to advanced frontside carving skiers who seek top-end performance feel without the unforgiving side that usually comes with those high-performance race skis.
Highlights:
The Shape E-V10 uses a Karuba Light Weight Wood core to keep them maneuverable and energetic with the addition of carbon fiber and graphene to bolster the overall stiffness and power. This combination of integrated materials is referred to as Head’s LYT Tech Construction. To filter out unwanted vibrations, the E-V10 also gets Head’s EMC, or Energy Management Circuit, which converts kinetic energy from vibrations into electrical energy and dissipates it throughout the carbon and graphene layers to dampen the overall feel of the ski. They also get race caliber bases and an Allride rocker profile which consists of 20% rocker and 80% camber.
Things to consider:
The E-V10 is intended to be a versatile frontside focused all-mountain ski. If you are looking for the absolute top-end of carving performance or all-mountain performance, there are other skis that would suit that application more. Instead, the E-V10 is a tool for intermediate to advanced skiers who are looking to progress.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Skis true to size in terms of a frontside carving ski. In other words, going slightly shorter than a typical all-mountain ski is common practice.
