Redesigned for 2025, the Head Supershape E-Rally is a high performance frontside carving ski intended to be precise and powerful. Why we like it:

Incredibly intuitive for being such a high performer. The E-Rally allows for various turn shapes without resistance which opens the door for a lot of different skiing styles. The main thing is that it is a burly and strong ski that is an easy-to-use tool for frontside applications.

Advanced to expert frontside skiers who seek a high performance, wider bodied, frontside ski that has some all-mountain versatility mixed in.

Highlights:

There’s a lot of technology packed into these skis but it results in a composed feel where all aspects work together seamlessly. Starting off with Head’s Worldcup Sandwich Cap Construction which consists of Carbon fiber, two full titanal laminates, dense wood core, fiberglass, and graphene. This combination of materials delivers a powerful and stable flex pattern that is also damp and smooth. Crossforce Carbon can be seen at the binding mounting zone where topsheet material is removed to expose the carbon fiber laminate. At this zone, the binding is directly mounted into the carbon fiber for maximum and immediate power transfer. To top it off, EMC (Energy Management Circuit) functions to absorb unwanted vibrations by converting kinetic energy into electrical energy. RD Racing Topsheets are used which are thinner material and designed to maximize responsiveness and reactiveness. Structured UHM C Bases are Head’s highest quality bases and are used on their world-leading race skis and the E-Rally. Finally, a Speed Rocker profile is used where there is 10% rocker and 90% camber resulting in excellent hard pack performance.

Things to consider:

This ski really likes to carve. So, if you are looking for a ski that can do it all and not just carve, there are other skis that can fill that role a bit better. However, if you are seeking a dedicated carving ski that likes to be on edge as much as possible, it is hard to think of a better choice.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to size in terms of a frontside carving ski. In other words, going slightly shorter than a typical all-mountain ski is common practice.
