The Sintered 8000 Base provides superior glide and holds wax longer than an extruded base.

Things to consider:

The directional shape and 20 mm of taper in the tail on the Storm Chaser provide excellent float but can make it harder to ride and land switch. A short effective edge and minimal camber can lack some stability and edge hold that you get from a fully cambered board.
