2025 Jones Stratos Women's Snowboard

The Stratos Women’s board from Jones comes back unchanged for the 2025 season. This hard charging all-mountain board has all the same technology as the men’s version but comes in shorter lengths. This is a great option for riders who are looking for one board to cover a variety of terrain and conditions. Whether it's deep snow, hard packed groomer, or sending it in the park, there is not much this board can't do.

Why we like it:

The spoon shaped nose on the Stratos makes it easy to roll over on edge and keeps it maneuverable off trail through trees and moguls without sacrificing any responsiveness on trial. The directional shape and 10 mm of taper make it an excellent option to take out on even the deepest snow days.

Who it's for:

The Stratos is ideal for Intermediate to advanced riders who want one board to cover a variety of terrain and conditions. The shape and rocker profile make it a great option for deep powder days out west and the longer sidecut and camber under foot gives it great stability and edge hold on harder packed icy conditions. This board also has plenty of spring-loaded pop to give you extra airtime when launching of natural back country hits.

Highlights:

The Stratos uses the Ultra Core which is a combination of paulownia with strategically placed poplar stringers to provide excellent durability and power. A Biax Fiberglass laminate gives this board a smooth and snappy feel without compromising weight. Power Basalt stringers that run from the front inserts to the tip of the board help plow through cruddy conditions without getting deflected off course. A Sintered 9990 Base gives this board excellent glide and holds wax for longer.

Things to consider:

The directional shape and taper on the Stratos are ideal for deep snow situations but can make it a little harder to ride and land switch. The longer camber profile can make it easier to catch an edge and fall, but the spoon shaped nose helps with this.
