The 2027 Kastle MX 84 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings redefines all-mountain carving with its exceptional power, precision, and energy. It stands out among its peers for superior carving performance and is even suited for beer league racing. The MX 84 is known for its quick edge-to-edge transitions and smooth, composed ride, offering a thrilling experience when its full potential is accessed. We paired the MX 84 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The MX 84’s precision and responsiveness make it an excellent choice for skilled carvers who can fully exploit its capabilities.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert skiers, particularly those with a background in competition and expertise in carving techniques, will get the most benefit from the MX 84.

Highlights:

The MX 84 features Kastle’s innovative InfiniCore technology, which incorporates strategically placed poplar and beech wood stringers. This design enhances both longitudinal and torsional flex, with beech in the center and poplar on the edges, optimizing carving performance. The ski is further reinforced by nearly two full titanal laminates, providing robust stability. Additionally, Kastle’s iconic Hollowtech EVO technology reduces tip weight for greater agility. With its Fast Grip Shovel and Tail, the MX 84 maintains a long effective edge, delivering exceptional grip on hard snow. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

The MX 84’s flex pattern and shape are less forgiving of minor errors, so it may challenge skiers who lack precise carving technique.
