Introducing the 2027 Kastle Paragon 101 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings, a setup that excels at both on-trail and off-trail persuits. With its blend of stability and power for carving turns, combined with agility and mobility for off-piste exploration, the 101 is a versatile freeride weapon for directional skiers. Comfortable at high speeds and across open terrain, this ski inspires confidence to push your limits. We paired the Paragon 101 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The Paragon 101’s exceptional performance in both carving and varied off-piste conditions makes it a standout addition to the 100 mm all-mountain freeride category.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert skiers who are looking for a directional freeride ski that excels in carving while being capable off-piste will find the Paragon 101 to be an ideal choice.

Highlights:

The Paragon 101 features Kastle’s latest InfiniCore Free technology, incorporating beech, poplar, and paulownia stringers within the ski’s core. Beech stringers run through the center, while poplar and paulownia are used along the sides, optimizing longitudinal and torsional flex for superior carving and off-trail performance. A titanal laminate enhances vibration damping and adds torsional stiffness, improving edge grip and performance in variable snow conditions. The tips are equipped with HollowTech 2.0, which reduces swing weight and boosts agility in technical terrain. Kastle’s Hook Free Shovel and Tail technology offers a catch-free, pivoty feel while maintaining secure grip on-piste. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

While the Paragon 101 performs well in bumps and trees, it thrives at higher speeds and is best suited for skiers who enjoy letting loose and pushing the limits.
