Freeride and freestyle versatility is the main story here with expertise all over the mountain. A sturdy but playful flex pattern allows for skiers to bring their park vision to the rest of the mountain without sacrificing too much in the ways of all-mountain performance.

Who it's for:

Intermediate to expert freeride skiers who need one ski to do it all when it comes to summit-to-park style resort skiing.

Highlights:

The Chronic 101 has an Aspen Veneer wood core which is made up of narrow stringers of aspen to result in a sturdy but playful flex pattern for all-mountain versatility and freestyle creativeness. Thick Cut Sidewalls underfoot bolster stiffness and durability for edge grip on firm snow and impact protection from rails and other features found in the park. Thin Tip in the tips in tails remove excess material in the extremities to reduce swing weight for easier maneuvering and spin tricks.

Things to consider:

Although the Chronic 101 is a versatile all-mountain freeride ski, it is certainly not the most supportive and powerful in its category. However, it does excel in a park aspect much more than those other, more supportive, 100 mm all-mountain skis.
