Why we like it:

The Valhalla is one of the stiffer options from Never Summers line up and if you are looking for speed then this board does not disappoint. The triple camber profile provides plenty of stability without sacrificing maneuverability off trail through trees and moguls. This board lacks little deep snow performance with its set back stance and tapered tail.

Who it's for:

The Valhalla is geared towards advanced to expert level riders who don't want to sacrifice stability for maneuverability. This board excels on hard packed east coast groomers and is nimble enough to maneuver through even the tightest glades.

Highlights:

The Full Recluse Carbon Web on the Valhalla uses woven carbon stringers to increase stability and edge hold without compromising weight. The Tri-Layer RDS 2 Damping System uses 3 dampening layers to help absorb impact and dampen vibrations to provide a smooth ride through any conditions. Triple Camber Fusion Profile combines 3 sections of camber with rocker between the inserts to give you great stability without making it so hard to maneuver at slower speeds.

Things to consider:

The directional shape and tapered tail on the Valhalla give this board plenty of float but can make it a little harder to ride and land switch. The stiffer flex is great for aggressive riders but can be hard to manage for more beginner level riders.
