Highlights:

The Unleashed 114 starts with Nordica’s Performance Wood Core which is supported by two layers of Carbon Fiber Glass. Carbon Fiber Glass is a combination of carbon fiber stringers incorporated into fiberglass laminates. One sheet of terrain specific metal is also incorporated into the ski for vibration damping and edge grip on firm snow. Finally, True Tip removes some of the sidewall material and tapers the wood core which reduces the overall swing weight of the ski for maximum maneuverability.

Things to consider:

This is quite the direct and powerful ski, so if you are more of a playful freerider and prefer smeariness and slashiness, there are other skis in this category that would better suit your style. On the other hand, if you need top end high-speed, performance and stability the 114 is right up your ally.
