2025 Ride Shadowban Snowboard

The Shadowban from Ride is a Directional Twin that is just at home carving groomers as it is lapping the park and shredding powder. The Longer direction nose provides great float in deep snow while the zero degrees of taper make it comfortable to ride switch or regular. A softer flex and standard camber profile make it easy to maneuver off-trail without sacrificing stability or edge hold on groomed trials.

Why we like it:

The Shadowban can do a little bit of everything. A great option to take in the park and hit jumps, carve down groomers, or take out for a powder day. The mellow more forgiving flex makes it easy enough for beginners while still giving you plenty of room to progress.

Who it's for:

The Shadowban is a great option for beginner to intermediate level riders looking to explore the whole mountain. This board would be just as much fun carving down icy east coast groomers as it would plowing through two feet of fresh snow. This board is no slouch in the park either, the loaded camber gives you plenty of pop when you are looking to send it.

Highlights:

The Shadowban gives you added stability and edge hold with Carbon Array 3 stringers that run across the mount points in the nose and tail. Double impact plates help dampen vibrations and absorb shock when plowing through chopped up cruddier conditions. The directional twin shape makes it easy to ride switch without sacrificing floatation in deep snow.

Things to consider:

You do sacrifice some floatation without any taper in the Shadowban but the added nose rocker helps with that. The more mellow flex can lack stability for heavier more aggressive riders but would be easy to maneuver for more cautious riders. The camber helps with edge hold on harder packed conditions but can make it easier to catch an edge and fall.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The added nose rocker makes the Shadowban ride a little short and you could size up if you are a heavier more aggressive rider.
