We love the power and precision in such a quiet package. When you consider the value you’re getting in a demo setup, it takes this AR to the next level. We like the traditional style with two sheets of metal and a mid-80's width for wider and better balance for carving turns.

Who it's for:

Strong skiers and former racers will get the most out of the AR demo skis and bindings. You kind of have to know what you’re looking for with this setup as beginners and intermediates might not get the most out of it.

Highlights:

Stockli precision oozes through the construction here, with a solid wood core, two sheets of metal, and rubber dust in between the laminates. This makes the Montero AR one of the quietest and most silent skis on the market, especially for how well it performs.

Things to consider:

The Montero AR performs more than admirably on a groomed surface and firmer snow. When you get in deeper snow, bumps, and trees, there are better options.

As far as the condition of the used Demo skis and bindings, all of our used Demo skis are located at our retail store. Our demo fleet benefits from a state-of-the-art tuning machine and are inspected for detail and quality after each use by our highly-qualified service technicians. Most of our demo skis are in pristine condition, and about 95% of them rate higher than a 8 out of 10 on our grading scale. Anything that falls below a 8 out of 10 does not get listed for sale. Skis that fall between 8 and 10 on the rating scale will only have cosmetic blemishes. When you purchase a demo ski from us, you'll be receiving a freshly-tuned and waxed ski that is ready to hit the snow. If there is any damage we feel warrants us reaching out then you will hear from us within a few days with options for you.
