2025 Volkl Secret 96 Women's Skis

Reworked for 2025, the Volkl Secret 96 is a time-tested favorite among lady freeriders, and the newest iteration is yet another winner. Building off last year’s platform, Volkl has very subtly tweaked the shaping and construction to achieve more responsiveness and performance while maintaining the well-rounded feel we know and love.

Highlights:

For 2025, Volkl adds yet another radius to their 3D Radius, creating their all-new 4 Radius Drive shaping. In a nutshell, the shape of the ski allows for greater variety of turn shapes with less input from the skier, increasing the versatility of the ski. The other noteworthy change for 2025 is around the Tailored Carbon Tip technology, which has been reworked to achieve quicker and more precise turn initiation along with more energy through the turn, resulting in a more responsive feel on hardpack. Volkl’s Tailored Titanal Frame overtop of the Beech and Poplar Multilayer Woodcore round out the stable and powerful construction of the Secret 96.

Things to consider:

Ladies looking to tour on the Secret 96 will find that there are lighter options more suited to uphill efficiency. Those on the beginner side of intermediate will want to look at something more forgiving as this ski is quite responsive and better suited to advanced intermediates and up.
