2026 Armada Declivity X 102 Skis with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings

Returning unchanged for 2026, the Armada Declivity X 102 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings continues to set the standard for high-octane all-mountain skiing. This setup delivers enhanced power and security whether you're trenching arcs on hardpack or surfing through powder stashes. The Declivity X 102's robust construction, combined with its versatile 102mm waist and freeride-friendly rocker profile, blends big-mountain confidence with frontside precision. We paired the Declivity X 102 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

We love how Armada manages to take a shape that carves with tenacity and merge it with a freeride build that inspires off-trail exploration. The result is a ski that’s smooth and energetic on groomers, yet nimble and stable when the terrain gets tricky.

Who it's for:

Ideal for advanced and expert skiers, the Declivity X 102 rewards powerful, engaged skiing with exceptional response. If you enjoy skiing fast, making clean carves, and punching through soft snow, this ski is designed to keep up with your ambitions.

Highlights:

The Declivity X 102 utilizes a lightweight poplar wood core and Armada’s Articulated Titanal Banding to produce an energetic yet incredibly smooth ride. This construction delivers impressive torsional stiffness and dampness while maintaining the responsiveness needed for dynamic turns. The ski’s blend of tip rocker, subtle tail rise, and traditional camber underfoot ensures confident float in softer snow without giving up edge grip on firmer terrain. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

The Declivity X 102 requires an active skiing style to unlock its full potential. Skiers who prefer a more laid-back, casual approach might find it a bit demanding, and so it’s best left to those with a well-developed skillset and a penchant for charging hard.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These skis run true to size. Skiers who want quicker turns or greater maneuverability in tight spots may want to size down slightly, while those chasing high-speed stability can confidently go longer.
