2027 Black Crows Junius Birdie Skis with Atomic Colt 7 Bindings

The 2027 Black Crows Junius Birdie with Atomic Colt 7 Bindings is a light, easygoing ski designed for young girls who are just beginning to explore the slopes. With its soft flex, forgiving feel, and intuitive handling, the Junius Birdie is the perfect partner for building early confidence and mastering the basics of skiing in a supportive, fun-focused way.

Why we like it:

We love how this ski turns learning into a joyful, stress-free experience. It's stable where it counts, light underfoot, and helps make every turn feel smooth and achievable. It’s a true confidence builder for young skiers who are just getting started.

Who it's for:

The Junius Birdie is ideal for beginner to intermediate junior girls who are developing foundational skills on groomers and starting to experiment with new terrain. If your skier is eager but still gaining comfort, this ski makes the journey feel rewarding every step of the way.

Highlights:

Built with a 76 mm waist, classic camber underfoot, and a slight rocker at the tip, the Junius Birdie offers excellent edge grip with easy turn initiation. The cap construction keeps things lightweight and flexible, while the directional shape ensures predictable handling and responsiveness. These features come together to create a ski that’s smooth, intuitive, and easy to trust.

Things to consider:

The Junius Birdie is tuned for learning and progression, not aggressive skiing or high-speed carving. More experienced or powerful junior skiers may want something with a bit more substance and edge hold.

Fit & sizing considerations:

This ski runs true to size. Choose a shorter length for added agility and control for younger or more tentative skiers. More confident or quickly progressing kids can size up for longer-term stability.
