2026 Faction Prodigy Jr Skis with Atomic Colt 7 Bindings

The 2026 Faction Prodigy Junior with Atomic Colt 7 Bindings is a youth-specific freestyle twin designed to help strong young skiers elevate their game across the entire mountain. Inspired by the adult Prodigy 1, this ski brings real construction, performance materials, and all-mountain capability into a smaller, more approachable package. From side hits and glades to groomers and park laps, this ski and binding setup is tuned for progression without compromise.

Why we like it:

This isn’t a toy—it’s a serious ski scaled for smaller riders. With pop, edge hold, and all-mountain power, it’s one of the best junior skis out there for creative kids who ride hard.

Who it's for:

Perfect for progressing junior skiers with solid fundamentals who are ready to start exploring freestyle terrain and more technical lines. Whether it’s side hits, switch skiing, or working toward tricks in the park, this ski delivers.

Highlights:

The Prodigy Junior is built around a poplar and ash wood core that strikes the right balance between energy and damping, helping younger skiers stay in control even at higher speeds. A directional twin shape and elliptical sidecut promote smooth turn initiation and versatility, while the rocker profile keeps things catch-free and easy to pivot. Full-strength sidewalls and an Anti-Chip Micro Cap enhance durability, and 2.5 mm XL edges make this ski strong enough to handle rail abuse and firm landings alike.

Things to consider:

This is a performance-oriented youth ski—better suited to kids who already ski with confidence and are venturing beyond the basics. Newer skiers will likely find it more ski than they’re ready to handle.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Prodigy Junior skis true to size. For lighter or less aggressive skiers, sizing down slightly can help improve maneuverability and build confidence without sacrificing control.
