The brand new 2026 Head Kore 88 Ti is a lightweight, high-performance ski designed to bring freeride spirit to the frontside. It’s the narrowest offering in the Kore series, making it the most precise and responsive on firm snow while still offering the versatility to venture into mixed terrain. If you're looking for a ski that blends carving chops with modern construction and a touch of off-piste capability, the Kore 88 Ti hits the mark.

Why we like it:

It’s fast, light, and incredibly maneuverable, with just enough rocker to keep things playful. For skiers who want a ski that thrives on-piste but won’t shy away from the occasional tree run or chalky bowl, the Kore 88 is one of the most well-rounded skis in its class.

Who it's for:

Geared toward advanced to expert skiers who prioritize responsiveness and edge hold but still want a modern shape with freeride character. It’s a particularly strong option for skiers looking for a daily driver that offers smoothness and maneuverability without the punishing nature of some other iron-clad models in this category.

Highlights:

The Kore 88 Ti features a Karuba-beech lightweight wood core, enhanced with Graphene, Flax and Titanal along with a Hybrid Top Sheet to reduce swing weight without compromising strength. Its Freeride Sandwich Cap Construction makes the ski stable and predictable at speed, while the Structured UHM C Base keeps the glide fast and durable. Tip and tail rocker allow for smooth turn initiation and a looser, more agile feel when needed. With a 128-88-112 mm sidecut and a 16-meter radius at 177 cm, it’s tuned for precision and adaptability.

Things to consider:

While the Kore 88 Ti handles light off-piste terrain well, its narrower waist and frontside bias mean it’s not ideal for deep powder or consistently soft conditions. If powder days are your priority, the Kore 99 or 106 may be a better match. Also, the Kore 88 Ti is not the stiffest frontside ski out there. Those looking for maximum power, edge grip, and energy will want to look to a stiffer option.

Fit & sizing considerations:

This ski runs true to size. For tight trees or quicker edge-to-edge performance, consider sizing down. For added stability and speed, go with your standard or longer length.
