2027 Salomon QST Blank Team Skis with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings

The 2027 Salomon QST Blank Team with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is a junior freeride ski that channels big-mountain energy into a youth-friendly package. Designed for young skiers who want to move beyond groomers, it blends a lively wood core, smooth rocker profile, and durable build to deliver confidence and control in all types of terrain. We paired the QST Blank Team with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

It brings QST pedigree to a junior ski, delivering float, stability, and grip without losing the agility and fun factor that kids need to stay engaged.

Who it's for:

Best suited for advanced youth and tween skiers ready to venture off trail, hit natural features, and push their limits in mixed conditions. It’s the perfect ski for kids with an appetite for freeride terrain.

Highlights:

With generous tip and tail rocker paired with traditional camber underfoot, the QST Blank Team offers float and maneuverability in soft snow while holding a solid edge on groomers. The poplar wood core keeps the ski light and energetic, while full sandwich sidewalls provide durability and consistent grip across conditions. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

While capable on groomers, this is still a freeride-focused ski. Juniors who primarily ski hardpack or are still developing fundamentals will be better served by a narrower, progression-oriented option.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These skis run true to size and feature a progressively longer radius for growing skiers. Choose shorter lengths for quick maneuverability, or longer lengths for more float and directional stability.
