2026 Salomon Strive 14 GW Bindings

The Salomon Strive 14 GW bindings are a well-rounded and high-end set of bindings for advanced skiers with a DIN setting between 5 and 14.

Why we like it:

Simple to use, great looking, and high performing, the Strive 14 is a versatile and strong binding for all alpine use. Whether you’re ripping through moguls or picking your way down a gnarly big mountain line, the Strive 14 will be there with you every turn of the way.

Who it's for:

Advanced and expert skiers will fit just fine in this binding from a performance perspective. Since it has a DIN range of 5-14, being in the middle of that range is all the better. In addition, these bindings accept alpine and GripWalk boot soles but not touring.

Highlights:

The ease of use is a big highlight. With a 3-piece heel, stepping in and getting out is a breeze. The 19.6-mm stand height and long elastic travel allow for great carving performance and amazing peace of mind when it comes to unwanted prereleases.

Things to consider:

If your DIN value falls at our just out of the 5-14 range, you may want to look elsewhere. Fortunately, Salomon makes Strive 12’s and 16’s for those skiers.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These bindings need to be adjusted by a certified binding technician. That said, there’s about 30 mm of fore/aft adjustment in these bindings to accommodate different boot lengths.
