The 2027 Arbor El Camino with Ride C-2 Bindings is Jared Elston's pro model, and the setup rides like something built for a guy who likes to go big and go fast. It is a stiff directional shape that wants speed and commitment, and it pays you back with real snap off a lip. Ride it lazy and it will let you know; stand on it and drive, and it holds an edge through anything. We paired the board with the C-2 bindings because these well-rounded all-mountain bindings perform well in most conditions or terrain. A moderate flex makes them stiff enough to charge on groomers but not too demanding that you can’t take them in the park. Built with durable material to last season after season making them a great choice to pair with the board.

Why we like it:

The carbon stringers running nose to tail give it that springy, energetic pop, and you feel them loading up on takeoff. The real-wood Powerply top and compact Grip Tech keep it stout without ever turning grabby.

Who it's for:

If you ride fast and like to go big, this is your board. Think morning laps on firm groomers, every side hit on the way down, then dropping into something steep and committing. It takes technique and rewards riders who push it.

Highlights:

A pair of carbon stringers runs the full length of the board and gives the El Camino its snap off a jump. Under them is a stiff, lively poplar and paulownia core on a camber profile that stays engaged through the whole turn instead of washing out at the end. Arbor keeps the Grip Tech contact points compact, so it bites hard on edge without hooking up when you are riding flat. The composite chassis provides durability without excessive weight, while Ride’s cored ankle straps hug the boot securely without pinching. The footbed is canted to reduce fatigue and promote better stance alignment.

Things to consider:

It is one of the stiffest boards Arbor makes, so it asks a lot and will not cover for you when technique slips. It is purely directional, so it is not the move if you spend real time riding switch or lapping the park.

Fit & sizing considerations:

It is stiff and likes speed, so most riders can stay at their usual length or even size down without losing much at the top end. Reach for a W if you are on a size 11 boot or bigger so you are not dragging toes and heels through hard turns.
