The Atomic Strive 10 GW brings the freeski Strive feel down to a lighter, more accessible DIN range. It runs the wide LDN toe the line is known for, paired with a lightweight mono heel and a short footprint that lets the ski flex freely underfoot. It is a binding for lighter and younger all-mountain skiers who want easy entry and a natural-flexing ride.
Why we like it:
The mono heel is the headline of this redesign, a lighter heel construction that keeps things easy underfoot, and the short footprint lets the ski bend the way it was built to. Backroller Technology smooths out step-in, which makes a real difference for younger or lighter skiers.
Who it's for:
Lighter skiers, younger skiers, and progressing intermediates who want a forgiving freeski binding for all-mountain use. The 3-10 DIN range fits lower skier weights and moderate release settings. It is built around ease of use and a natural flex rather than high-DIN charging performance.
Highlights:
As a fresh design this season, the Strive 10 GW pairs a lightweight mono heel with the line's wide LDN toe, so it keeps the broad, low toe platform while shedding weight at the heel. Backroller Technology eases the boot into the binding for a smoother step-in, and Automatic Toe Adaptation handles the boot-sole interface across alpine and GripWalk soles. The short footprint is a deliberate choice that frees up the ski to flex naturally, and Locking Brakes plus a Snow Scraper round out the practical details. It is TUV certified.
Things to consider:
With a 10 DIN ceiling, this is not built for heavier or aggressive skiers who run high settings; they should step up the Strive range. The lighter mono-heel build trades some of the planted, damp feel of the bigger Strive bindings for easy handling.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The Strive 10 GW takes alpine (ISO 5355) and GripWalk (ISO 23223) adult boot soles, with Automatic Toe Adaptation switching between them. Brakes come in L90, L100, and L115 widths; choose the one that clears your ski's waist cleanly. A certified technician should handle mounting and verify release settings.
