Wider frontside performance gets the Worldcup treatment in the Head Supershape e-Titan. A Crossforce Carbon construction, Worldcup Sandwich Cap layup, and Speed Rocker profile combine into a ski that holds an edge like a race ski but carries enough waist width to feel stable and composed across mixed snow.
Why we like it:
Crossforce Carbon is the headline. The carbon construction runs from binding to ski directly, with the binding mounted on top of carbon rather than through a softer topsheet, which means the inputs from your boots arrive at the edges of the ski almost instantly.
Who it's for:
Advanced and expert skiers who want top-end groomer performance with a little more stability and underfoot platform than a pure slalom-style carver. Best for skiers who like to lay it over and let the ski work, particularly on firm trail conditions.
Highlights:
Crossforce Carbon construction links the binding directly into the ski's carbon backbone for the kind of edge-to-edge response that race skis are known for. The Worldcup Sandwich Cap Construction puts wood, Graphene, and titanal into a balanced layup that holds up at high speeds and high edge angles. EMC piezo damping does its quiet work of filtering chatter, and the RD Race Structured UHM C base comes tuned for speed straight off the line. Speed Rocker is a low-rise tip rocker that keeps the shovel from grabbing on transition while still giving the ski a fully-engaged feel through the turn. The Better Balance PR wide base plate matches the wider waist, and the included Protector 11 GW binding completes the system.
Things to consider:
Stays mostly on-trail. The wider waist gives a little more range than the rest of the Supershape line, but it's not a true all-mountain ski; soft snow and off-trail terrain will quickly show its frontside DNA. The Supershape e-Rally is the narrower sibling for skiers who want a more traditional carver feel.
Fit & sizing considerations:
True to length. Stay with your usual size; come down a length for snappier turns, lengthen up for added stability at higher speeds.
