Choose your flex, not your price. The K2 Anthem X 95 BOA brings the Anthem line's full women's-specific design — TrueForm last, True-Align stance geometry, women's-specific cuff shaping — into a more accessible single-BOA package. The X tier ships in three flex options off the same shell, and the 95 sits in the middle, friendly territory for advancing intermediate skiers building toward more confident all-mountain skiing.

Why we like it:

K2 didn't water down the women's-specific build to hit a lower price point. You're getting the same TrueForm last and True-Align geometry as the top-of-line Anthem models, just with single-BOA closure and a softer shell.

Who it's for:

Advancing intermediate women skiers ready to step into a real performance boot without committing to a stiff race-adjacent flex. The 95 is forgiving enough for technique work but with enough backbone to reward better skiing as it develops.

Highlights:

The Anthem X 95 BOA shares the TrueForm last with every other boot in the Anthem line — built around women's foot geometry from the ground up rather than scaled down from the men's Recon. True-Align Geometry sets the stance at Ramp 5 for a balanced position over the ski. Where this boot diverges from its Zonal-tier siblings is the closure system: a single BOA dial on the lower shell rather than the dual-zone setup. That makes operation faster and pricing friendlier without giving up the women's-specific platform. The shell is TPU, the cuff is polypropylene for a softer flex, and the P4 liner is fully heat moldable. A 40mm tapered velcro power strap and GripWalk soles round out the build.

Things to consider:

The single-BOA closure doesn't give you the same independent forefoot and lower-leg adjustment that the Zonal Anthem boots do, and the X tier doesn't include forward lean or cuff alignment adjustability either. Skiers who know they want full adjustability or the dual-zone wrap will want to look at the Anthem 105 Zonal BOA instead.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Standard mondopoint sizing applies; go with your usual size. The 97-100mm last is medium-volume, with the lower BOA giving some wrap range. A bootfitter visit is worth it on any new boot purchase to lock in the heat-mold liner.
