From the first park lap to the last tree run, the 2027 K2 Haven keeps things easy. This is the brand's softer-flexing women's all-mountain boot, built for riders who want comfort and forgiveness without dropping all the way down to a true entry-level shell. The single BOA closure, heat-moldable Intuition liner, and softer foam construction work together to make a boot that feels broken-in fast and stays comfortable through long resort days. It's a boot that lets riders focus on technique and terrain rather than fighting their gear.

Why we like it:

The Intuition Comfort Foam 3D Liner is heat-moldable, which is rare at this price point and makes a real difference in fit and warmth on day one. The H5 Coiler BOA dial also earns its place, locking the boot down in seconds and ejecting cleanly in a hard wreck instead of staying jammed.

Who it's for:

The Haven is a great match for women riders working their way up from beginner into intermediate territory, as well as advancing intermediates who simply prefer a softer, more playful boot. Park-curious riders, freestyle leans, and resort riders who spend most of their day on groomers and easy off-piste lines will all click with the feel.

Highlights:

Where the Haven differs most from the stiffer Contour is in the lacing and liner stack. A single H5 Coiler BOA dial replaces the dual-zone setup, paired with TX3 BOA Lace for a softer, more evenly distributed pull around the body of the boot. The Intuition Comfort Foam 3D Liner uses softer foam than the Control version, focusing on day-one comfort and long-haul wear, and it's still heat-moldable for a personalized fit. The 3-Point Harness Liner Lacing keeps the heel anchored using a traditional pull lace and three contact points, which works well in a softer-flexing build. Underfoot, the Harshmellow Insole absorbs vibration and chatter, making landings and longer days easier on the feet. Internal and external J-Bars finish the fit story.

Things to consider:

Aggressive riders pushing into bigger terrain will likely outgrow the Haven's flex and want to move up to the Contour or higher. The single BOA setup also means the upper and lower zones share a tension, so riders who like to tweak fit at the cuff vs. the forefoot won't get the same control as a dual-zone boot.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Stick with what you usually ride. The Haven sizes from 5 to 11 with half sizes through 10, so most riders will land cleanly. Going up a size to add room for thick socks isn't necessary because the liner will conform with heat or just by riding in it, and an oversized shell will cost some of the heel hold.
