The 2027 K2 Passport with K2 undefined Bindings is a directional all-mountain setup for riders who want one deck that can handle the full mountain. The directional combination camber puts rocker in the tip for soft-snow float and camber underfoot for edge engagement on harder snow. A lightweight wood core with a triaxial glass layup keeps it responsive without feeling demanding, and the medium flex stays approachable while holding up to faster speeds and longer turns.

Why we like it:

The multi-radius sidecut is the standout feature, tighter at tip and tail for snappy turn initiation and longer between the feet for smooth, predictable edge hold. It is the kind of shape that does a lot of the work for you.

Who it's for:

Intermediate to expert riders who want a do-everything board with directional bias. The mid flex and combination camber suit riders who explore the whole mountain and want responsive performance without a demanding feel.

Highlights:

The Passport's calling card is the multi-radius sidecut, tighter in the tip and tail for engagement and longer underfoot for stability. Construction starts with K2's A1 Core, an aspen-dominant layup with bamboo angled underfoot for edge response and paulownia for weight savings, and an ICG 10 Triax Glass layup with carbon stringers brings longitudinal snap into the mix. The Directional Combination Camber Profile pairs an elongated rocker tip with camber underfoot. The base is a Sintered 4000 with a Stone Ground finish. K2's Module Chassis provides a stable and responsive foundation, while the AM1 Highback offers a supportive yet forgiving feel for all-mountain riding. The combination of the SD1 Ankle Strap and BetterWrap Toe Strap delivers secure, even pressure across the boot for improved comfort and control. A 3 degree canted footbed with EcoHarshmellow Pods enhances alignment and impact absorption, and aluminum ratchets ensure smooth adjustments. A forward lean block allows riders to fine-tune response to match their riding style.

Things to consider:

The Passport tops out at a 6/10 flex, so it is not a chargy freeride board and riders wanting a stiffer platform should look further up the line. The directional shape also means switch riding is doable but not optimized.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Standard sizing applies, and the wide variants are the right call for boots size 11 US or above. Going shorter favors more park-leaning use while going longer favors float and stability.
