2027 Rossignol Sender Junior Skis with SpeedMachine J Boots and Poles

Fundamentals come first with the Rossignol Sender Jr, an all-mountain ski built to make the learning years enjoyable. A junior-specific flex and rocker pattern keep turn initiation forgiving so kids can pivot, steer, and stop without wrestling the ski, and the narrow waist keeps things quick on groomed runs. It's a ski a young skier can stay on for a few seasons, pushing further off the green runs each year. We paired the Sender with the Nordica Speed Machine Jr Boy’s ski boot because it provides young skiers with a solid blend of comfort, support, ad performance which with these skis will propel the development of their skills. Tailored for junior skiers who are progressing quickly, the Speed Machine Jr offers a secure fit with reliable performance no matter the terrain or snow conditions.

Who it's for:

Kids in their developing years who need one dependable ski for the whole resort. It fits beginners through early intermediates working on control before speed.

Things to consider:

The narrow, forgiving setup that makes this ski approachable also leaves it little to offer in soft snow or at higher speeds. A confident young skier already pushing into off-trail terrain will want something wider.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Sizing at chin height is a safe default for a developing skier, with the option to move up as control improves. This ski has enough range that a child can stay on it for a few seasons, so a modest allowance for growth is more defensible here than on a specialized ski.
