2027 Salomon QST Jr Cosmic Sky Skis W/ C5 GW Bindings

The Salomon QST Jr Cosmic Sky S is designed for the youngest skiers just getting comfortable on snow. A lightweight composite build and a soft, easy-flexing shape mean kids can actually turn this ski instead of fighting it. The mostly-cambered profile with just a touch of tip rocker keeps things stable and predictable, which is exactly what beginners need. The Juniortrak binding comes set up and ready, and adjusts to fit growing feet.

Who it's for:

Absolute beginners at the smallest end of the size run. Very short lengths and a gentle flex suit children whose body weight alone has to be enough to bend a ski.

Things to consider:

Learning is the entire design target, so a child who picks up speed will flatten this ski out and want more support. Composite cores also lack the spring of wood, which no beginner notices and every improving skier eventually does.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Size this to the child standing next to it, with the tip somewhere around chin height while the basics are still forming. Short beats long every time at this stage, because control is what produces progress.
