Boot Size

Softer than the 105 sibling but still a real performance boot at heart, the Tecnica Mach1 LV 95 W TD2 brings the new W2W chassis to advancing intermediate women with narrow feet. The 98mm narrow last, polyurethane shell, polypropylene cuff, and the new T-Drive 2.0 connector deliver a 95-flex frontside boot that responds to good technique without demanding it. Strong intermediates working toward advanced get a boot that supports the progression instead of fighting it.

Why we like it:

A 95 flex on a low-volume women's boot is a smart choice for advancing skiers. It's stiff enough to deliver real edge response on groomers but forgiving enough that progress doesn't require perfect technique on every turn.

Who it's for:

Advancing intermediate to advanced women with narrow feet who want a performance-leaning boot that helps them progress. Skiers transitioning out of softer comfort boots and into something with more response, without jumping straight to a 105 or 115 flex.

Highlights:

The new 2027 Mach1 chassis delivers the same construction approach as the higher-flex models, scaled to a 95 flex appropriate for advancing skiers: PU shell with Quick Instep, bi-injected PP cuff with backspine, and the new T-Drive 2.0 system linking the upper and lower for consistent flex. The liner is Tecnica's Ecodesign W.S.D. Performance with C.A.S. construction, Celliant warming fabric, and a floating tongue for instep adjustment, all built on women's-specific shaping. Closure runs through four aluminum micro-adjustable buckles and a 35mm Velcro strap, and GripWalk soles handle the parking lot walk. C.A.S. shell and liner customization opens up punching, grinding, and heat molding to dial in fit.

Things to consider:

The 98mm last rules out wider feet, so medium-volume skiers should look at the MV version of this same boot. A 95 flex is appropriate for advancing skiers but stronger advanced and expert skiers will want the 105 or 115 in the line. As an entry-level performance boot, this isn't the right choice for beginner or casual skiers who'd be better served by a softer all-mountain boot.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Tecnica's 98mm last is genuinely narrow, so this is a low-volume option for women with narrow feet. C.A.S. shell and liner give significant fit customization range. While not a hardcore performance boot, the precision of the LV chassis still rewards a session with a knowledgeable bootfitter to dial in the initial fit.
