Traditional and contemporary, the Alps & Meters Alpine Winter Men's Trousers sports the classic tailoring of the post war period with a blend of modern waterproof / breathable technology including a water repellent finish on the outer fabric, and a 10k/10k waterproof and windproof membrane backing behind it. These might be technically classified as “shell pants,” although the wool fabric elevates them over that traditional category. Inseam zipper venting on the thighs allows you to blow off steam when you need to, while a zip at the back of the leg opening gives you the range to accommodate both ski and snowboard boots.
