The EVO heel rotates 180° to enable ski brake engagement and uphill mode with a single motion, while the Cam Release System and Elastic Response System guarantee smooth step-in, secure retention, and consistent release. Things to consider:

As with any tech binding, downhill power and elasticity are more limited than heavier, hybrid bindings like the Duke PT, Shift, Kingpin or just typical alpine bindings. If you prioritize aggressive descents over uphill efficiency, a burlier setup like the Duke PT or Shift might be more appropriate.
