Energiapura Wengen Junior Adjustable Race Shorts

Cold lift rides and long waits in the start corral are hard on young racers, and the Energiapura Wengen Junior Adjustable Race Shorts fix both. Sized for kids, these windproof over-shorts go on over a race suit to keep legs warm between runs, then zip off in seconds before the start. Parents get one less thing to wrestle with at the top of the course.

Why we like it:

Kids can manage them on their own. The leg zips open all the way, so a young racer can get them off over boots in the start without help from a coach.

Features and Functions:

Full front leg zips come first on the junior Wengen, opening the shorts completely so they come off over boots without removing skis. The fabric is windproof and breathable with a water-repellent surface that sheds snow, and it adds warmth without bulky insulation. An elastic waistband with padding at the back and a reinforced insert at the hip keep it comfortable for kids who spend all day moving.

Fit and Sizing:

Trim fit over a race suit, scaled down for young racers.

Bottom Line:

A must-have for club and U10 to U14 racers who need warmth between training runs and fast removal before the gate.
