Leki Haute Route 2 Adjustable Poles

Adjustable touring poles can, unfortunately, get kinda expensive. That makes poles like the Haute Route 2 really stand out to us. Relatively affordable among the sea of adjustable touring poles, yet still packed with solid technology, ergonomic features, and ultimately when you’re heading out into the backcountry this season, you know you can trust them. The aluminum shaft isn’t the lightest material in the world, but certainly light enough, not to mention very durable with its 18 to 16 mm shaft diameters. Leki’s Aergon grip is comfortable and ergonomic, working with all different hand sizes. We like the extended grip down the shaft of the pole too. That feature is great for touring poles as it allows you to quickly adjust your grip for different pitches on your ascent. Things getting steep? Just hold the pole a little lower on the grippy, soft extension!
