Nordica The Weekender Bag

Designed by skiers for skiers the Nordica Weekender is designed to neatly split your stuff so you can stow the damp and dirty away from the clean and cozy. Strong enough to even tote a pair of boots (although that will compromise your weekend wardrobe) this has a nice set of handles and a shoulder carry to keep you on the move. A nice size when you need the right size for weekends or minimalist travel, the fact that this will take a pair of boots makes it supremely versatile. We’re recommending, if you’re packing boots in here, that you pack clothing into compression sacks to give yourself additional room for layers and allow you to separate clean from not-so-clean clothes. Certainly enough room for a woman to pack for a ski weekend if she’s using wool layering pieces and wearing her parka if she’s willing to pack carefully and use those compression sacks. If you’re not familiar with compression sack packing, a 4 liter compression sack fits into most medium/large helmets, a 6 liter will compress a down puffy into a surprisingly small space, and a medium packing cube will hold an entire outfit (jeans, shirts, belt, underwear) in a compressed and easily packed package. The kind of bag you’ll use for more than just the ski weekend, as a beach bag this keeps damp towels segregated from the other stuff just as neatly as it separates your ski bibs from your puffy.
