The Scott Pro Taper SRS Poles are light, strong, and safe. They provide just about everything you could possibly want in a fixed length alpine pole. The 4 finger grip that Scott’s known for is ergonomic and feels great in your hand, giving you a confident hold on your poles. The 16 mm carbon shaft is both light and strong. You’ll notice the lighter swing weight compared to heavier poles and it actually can help keep your tempo up when navigating through tight, technical terrain. Scott adds some fiberglass into the pole’s construction and through the combination of fiberglass and carbon, they increase vibration absorption giving the poles a smooth, easy feel even when pole planting on very firm snow conditions.
