100% Merino wool knit fabric provides natural moisture management, temperature regulation, and odor resistance in a comfortable interlock knit. To prevent chafing while working hard the back body seam wraps to front, their is a raglan sleeve construction, and flatlock seaming designed to help increase comfort and minimize chafing. The size 1X center-front zipper: 8.25" (21 cm). Made in Vietnam: 100% Wool-Merino.

Fit and Sizing:

Sized for larger women this is still cut as a slim fit intended to follow the contours of the body. We will also use this as a lightweight midlayer, if you plan on doing the same, size up.

Bottom Line:

A comfortable heavy baselayer made from Merino wool and sized right for larger women we use the Smartwool Women's Classic Thermal Merino Base Layer 1/4 Zip as a light midlayer sweater when conditions demand, so we will size up due to the body skimming slim fit of the conventional sizing. At the regular size this is a cozy next to skin baselayer for cold weather layering and cool weather outdoor activities.
