Entry and exit of the shoe along with great adjustability are made possible from two Velcor straps and BOA lacing system that can be micro-adjusted on-the-fly in seconds with a simple turn of the dial. The BOA system is also replaceable if it gets damaged with no tools needed thanks to its snap cartridge system. A hard molded toe gives you extra toughness and durability if oyu happen to hit any ricks or sharp objects on the trail, along with having replaceable tow studs that give you great grip and traction when you the going gets too steep to ride and you have to walk with your bike up steep inclines.
